The annual Saanich Tigers / Thrifty Foods 3 On 3 Tournament is a great way to kick off the 2016 season!

This 2-day in-house tournament is open to all registered Saanich players and focuses on having fun.
Teams consist of 4 or 5 players and play a round robin style format against other teams within their
division. There are no goalies and no contact. Players only need their helmets, gloves, mouth guards and
sticks. All games are monitored by certified referees. Teams are encouraged to be creative in deciding
on team names and jerseys. Teams play within their division.

As always, the music will be playing all day and the concession will be serving up great food (thank you
Thrifty’s!). Tiger Gear will also be available for purchase all weekend.

A few new things this year:
• Skills Competition – open to all players, this will consist of a short, timed obstacle course testing
shooting and passing skills. Trophies will be awarded for the top score in each division.
• Tykes and Mini-Tykes – these divisions will be part of the full tournament for the first time this
year!
• Best Jersey – prizes will be awarded to the team with the best jerseys in each division – use your
imagination!

As an added bonus, the 2015 Champion Victoria Shamrocks will be bringing the Mann Cup to Braefoot
Park on Sunday, May 8 from 12:00 – 2:00pm!

The cost of registration is $20/player Novice, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget, and $10/player for Mini-
Tyke and Tyke. And every player gets a prize!! Contact your team manager or Kevin Rieberger
(kjrieberger@shaw.ca) to register your team! Please register by April 24.
