Matt has been a referee with Saanich for the last 7 years. Matt is known for: consistency in his standard of calls, fairness and professionalism.

A testament to his caliber of refereeing, Matt was selected to represent British Columbia at the 2019 Canadian box lacrosse nationals.

In order to be selected Matt went through an extensive evaluation and selection process and he did an outstanding job. In recognition of his ability he was assigned to work one of the medal games.
