Despite not playing a 2020 season, Saanich Lacrosse’s Graduating Midget players will be drafted on Thursday, January 14th. The event will be livestreamed, and it is anticipated that a few Saanich players will be drafted in the First Round. Both the Nanaimo Timbermen and Victoria Jr Shamrocks have picks in Round 1. Nanaimo has loaded up on picks in anticipation of this strong draft year and holds 5 picks in Rounds 1 ,2 and 3. Look for more than a few Tigers make the jump to the Timbermen and reunite with their former Saanich Novice Coach Dave Bremner.
