The Saanich Express return to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this Friday June 28th to face their Island rival Westshore Bears. This is a homecoming for the Express as they have played their last three games at the Panorama Recreation Centre.
The Westshore Bears sit atop the PNWJLL standings undefeated and a win for them will virtually clinch 1st place in the league standings, but a loss will give the Express a chance to catch them for top spot in the Pacific Northwest Junior Lacrosse League. Your Railmen are coming off an outstanding game where they traveled to Parksville and defeated the Oceanside Sharks, while managing their first ever shutout in PNWJLL league play as either the Saanich Express or their previous moniker, the Saanich Tigers.
We would like to invite all minor lacrosse players wearing their jerseys in for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Lots of exciting between period activities and games to play and participate in as well as “FREE” pizza to be given away!
Come on out, one and all and support your Saanich Express in their battle for PNWJLL league supremacy.
ALL ABOARD THE EXPRESS TRAIN!
