Tax receipts for Saanich Lacrosse

Posted by Saanich Lacrosse at Mar 11, 2017 3:57PM PST

As we get closer to the due date for individual tax returns we are receiving some questions about tax receipts for the Saanich Lacrosse registration fee.

The tax receipt is part of the email you receive on confirmation of your online registration.

Each year you will receive an email with the following subject line: Saanich Lacrosse Association 2016 Registration Successful. If you search your old emails by this subject line you will find your 2016 registration confirmation. Scroll down, and you will see the British Columbia Lacrosse Association Registration Receipt. Your 2017 receipt will also be in one of your email folders.

Any questions, please contact our registrar Rich Burman at

Thank you.

The BC Lacrosse Association is hosting a Female Only Community Coach Development Box Lacrosse Clinic for any/all interested women/girl’s on Vancouver Island. The goal of the clinic is to create an engaging learning environment for new and/or experienced volunteers looking to get involved in lacrosse.

The clinic will be facilitated by Development Coach, Naomi Walser. Naomi is an amazing coach/teacher who makes it easy to learn even if you are inexperienced. She has coached a variety of male and female start up teams, local teams, and Team BC squads. She has been facilitating coaching clinics across BC and is looking forward to sharing techniques that enable coaches to feel confident teaching lacrosse.

Learning how to teach the basic fundamentals of lacrosse can be fun and easy. Girls are excited to play, and they are a lot of fun to coach. If you have a knack for fun, and are looking for a new way to get involved in the community, this clinic is for you.

Saanich Lacrosse Executive

Ready to get things going for the older girls for the upcoming Female Box Lacrosse Season and excited to offer the new Junior team (1996-2000)

At this time we have some drop-in sessions planned so that new players can learn the basics and returning players can get ready to go back to the box. The idea behind these sessions is to offer a few options so that hopefully everyone can make it to a session. IF you need to arrive a few minute late or leave early that is okay too.

Based on registrations to-date our numbers look good for the upcoming season, but we are always happy to have more girls come out and see if lacrosse is the right sport for them… so please feel free to invite a friend to come along to any of these sessions. For any players that aren’t registered yet we will need to have a waiver signed by their parent (which we will have on hand or I can e-mail you one in advance if the parent won’t be attending). We will also have extra sticks if needed.

  • Thursday, February 16 (7-9) at David Cameron Gym
  • Monday, February 20 (6:30-8:30) at Tsawout Gym
  • Monday, March 6 (6:30-8:30) at Tsawout Gym

REMINDER – Wear runners, helmets (other gear optional)… and bring a water bottle.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask

Best of luck to all our Female players heading over for Field Provincials… hoping Mother Nature cooperates and gets rid of all the snow for you!
