Petition to Saanich for more Ice Rinks
Saanich Minor Hockey has an online petition in an effort to garner support for more Ice Rinks in the municipality.
Saanich Minor Lacrosse is not behind the organization of this petition, however the Executive is sending this out as we believe that if there were more Ice Rinks in Saanich this would equate to more dry floor playing time in the summer.
If you are interested in supporting the petition please follow the link below.

Coaching Evaluations for the 2018 Season
The 2018 Box Lacrosse Season had come to an end. Thank you for all our parents for supporting your players in their season this year. These players would not be able to have such a successful season if it was not for your commitment to getting them to and from practices, games, tournaments and other events.
We ask that you take the time to complete a coaching evaluation for your player’s coach this year. The information provided will be held in confidence. This evaluation is important for us to see how the season has gone for players and parents and will help us to make informed decision next year.
Thank you again for being part of Saanich Lacrosse for the 2018 Season!!
We look forward to seeing you next year.
https://teampages.com/forms/18642-Coach-Evaluation-Form-20182018 Thrifty Foods / Saanich Tigers 3 On 3 Tournament Another Great Year!
Great weather and an excellent turn out helped make our annual 3 on 3 Tournament, held this past weekend, a huge success. With the exception of one team that was playing in another tournament, every Saanich team participated in this year’s event – including our Midget Female Team! Everyone had a great time!
A very big thanks to our tournament sponsor, Thrifty Foods, who provided the concession – food, equipment, and cooks – with all proceeds going to Saanich Lacrosse! Store Managers from the Tuscany, Cloverdale, Quadra-McKenzie, and Hillside Thrifty stores donated their time to help this weekend – THANK YOU!
Thanks to James Mace and CanPro, who provide the boards for our half court set-up. And thanks to Aidan Conway for providing the music this weekend.
Thanks to our volunteers from Reynolds High School, who do a great job of managing the concession and serving up the great food. Thank you to Kirby’s Source for Sports for their continued support to Saanich Lacrosse and the 3 On 3 prize tables.
Finally, a special thanks to Darryll Walmsley and all of the parents and players who helped out with the set-up and take-down.
Enjoy the rest of your season!
