The Saanich Lacrosse Executive is proud to announce that three members of our Association were nominated for BCLA awards for this past season.

Rob Shahi – Bill McBain Coaching Award
Jade 00 Magee – Ruth Seward Extraordinary Contributions Award
Lisa Carson – Hugh Gifford Merit Award

At the 2019 BC Lacrosse AGM Lisa Carson was awarded the Hugh Gifford Merit Award for her significant contributions to lacrosse.
Lisa was selected for her work on the Saanich Lacrosse Executive as the floor allocator and managing two teams during the 2019 season. The Bantam A2 and the Midget A2 teams both made it to the Gold Medals games in their respective Provincials. Lisa worked tirelessly to proactively manage both teams and “take care of the details” so the players could play, and coaches could coach and fans/parents could enjoy the competition.

Congratulation Lisa, Rob and Jade.

Please see the attached Summary of Nominations for more detailed information.
