News and Announcements
The following is a message from the BCLA
The Grizzlies Movie (rated PG) is opening on April 19th in Vancouver (at the Cineplex Odeon at International Village and Fifth Avenue Cinemas) and in Victoria (at the Cineplex Odeon). This movie is based on Russ Sheppard’s (the BC Lacrosse Coaches Group’s current Chair) experiences while teaching in Nunavut, a small Arctic town struggling with the highest suicide rate in North America. A group of Inuit students’ lives are transformed when they are introduced to the sport of lacrosse. A compelling, must-see experience!
The Saanich Lacrosse Executive is seeking your input on amalgamating with Peninsula and Victoria/Esquimalt Lacrosse Associations. Please read the attached letter from the Saanich Lacrosse Executive and then follow the link to the survey.
